Steamboat Springs Million Dollar Luxury Home Sales since June 1, 2008
| A common question lately is "how is the Steamboat Market?". Steamboat has had an incredible boom the past few years due in part to the purchase of the ski area by Intrawest. Record sales reports have been the news for the past 2 years.
Today: Condos and townhomes under $1,000,000 have slowed some as we adjust back to normal levels (prior 2006-2007) sale volumes are down, dollar volume is steady. The latest boost is the demand for multimillion dollar properties. Sales of larger acreage homes and luxury homes are continuing at a steady pace.
Some sales to note are 9,400 square foot estate on 149 acre ranch 20 minutes south of town for $8 million in June 2008. The Crazy Horse Ranch with 70 acres and a 10,000 square foot home for $8.2 million in July and a 7,300 square foot house on 8 acres for $5,250,000 in July.
August update: A Dakota Ridge home sold for $3,750,000 and a home on the Rolling Stone Ranch and Golf Club sold for $4,975,000. There are 7 more pending sales. Following is a list of areas where real estate is in demand. For more information on our Steamboat home sales Request our free market report or Call Dean Laird 877-678-0884 today.
